New Quickie

 OFTX BaviaansP02
 OFTX ZuurbergP01
 OFTX ZuurbergP02
 OFTX BavqiaansP04

The "Quickie" is our most popular ride package and starts with riders checking into our Suites in the evening, and after covering the brief registration formalities and a familiarisation and handover session on the bikes, depart at about 7 am the next morning (from the Xtreme Team offices) to any of the various routes shown below. (No delivery costs!)

Upon their return, a braai and drinks await before a well-earned night's rest in one of our suites. The rate includes a daily bike travel distance of 350 kilometres and is only available to groups of three or more riders. Excess milage above 350 kilometres is charged out at ZAR3.60 per kilometre.

The ride time per route is an indication only and any route can be selected depending on the group's preference. Two of our team members will accompany the riders with the "Ride Guide" setting the route and pace while our "Sweeper" covers the back to ensure that all riders enjoy the experience.

Options exist i.e. Xtreme Weekend, where riders can book an accomodation package at our facilities on the beach and ride a variety of day routes, returning to the Amsterdam Suites every day while their partners (They can come and dont have to ride!) enjoy the beach, or go shopping and rejoin them each night for a relaxed dinner wherever they choose.

Safety Gear: We do have a selection of safety gear available to rent, subject to availability and confirmation or riders can order Xtreme Team gear prior to arrival.

Please view the items that can be included in the offered package estimates we will provide upon request.

The Quickie Routes:

Zuurberg - Addo Route

OFTX Zuurberg02 OFTX Zuurberg04 OFTX Zuurberg01 OFTX Zuurberg03

The Zuurberg Route takes you north up through the rolling hills of the beautiful Sunshine Coast before turning west into an area of the Eastern Cape that is well-known for its game reserves, including Shamwari Game Reserve and Addo Elephant Park. You will be riding along the fences and sometimes even through the reserves, where wildlife such as elephants and buck are often seen. Once through the game area, the ride gets a bit tougher through the Zuurberg Pass before ending off with the tarred Olifantskop Pass and then back to Port Elizabeth. We have found that this is a good route to get to know the bikes.
